Dr Alexander Keeley

Dr Alex Keeley is a trainee infectious diseases and general medicine clinician in Sheffield, UK. Alex has recently completed a Wellcome Trust PhD fellowship in Global Health Research based at MRC Unit The Gambia at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

He will shortly be commencing as an academic clinical lecturer at The University of Sheffield. Alex’s research focuses on immunology and epidemiology of Strep A and other bacterial infections with a view to informing vaccination strategies.
