Professor Amiliana Mardiani Soesanto

Prof. Amiliana M. Soesanto is a full professor at the Dept of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and a senior cardiologist/consultant in echocardiography at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, Indonesia. She has been working in those two institutions since 2001. During her early career, she joined a fellowship program in cardiac imaging and echocardiography at Toranomon Hospital in Tokyo, Japan, and another in advanced echocardiography at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She is an active board member of the Indonesian Society of Echocardiography, ASEAN Society of Echocardiography, and the Asia-Pacific Association of Echocardiography. Most of her research and publications are in echocardiography, including interventional echocardiography, valvular heart disease, and rheumatic heart disease.
