Professor ASHA BOWEN

Professor Asha Bowen OAM is a paediatric infectious diseases specialist and clinician-scientist based at Perth Children's Hospital and The Kids Research Institute Australia. She leads internationally recognised research focused on skin health, infectious diseases, primordial and primary prevention of rheumatic fever and improving health outcomes for Aboriginal children and families. Professor Bowen has extensive experience in clinical trials, implementation science, and the translation of research into policy and practice, both nationally and internationally.
