Frederic Seghers

Frederic Seghers is Senior Director, New Initiatives for Health Systems Strengthening and Non-Communicable Diseases at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle-income countries.

Since joining CHAI in 2014, he has supported various new initiatives to increase access to therapeutics, diagnostics, and preventative interventions across CHAI’s program portfolio, most notably CHAI’s newly established program for increasing access to assistive technology.

In his current role, he oversees CHAI’s global cancer program, and he supports CHAI’s new work on private finance, which aims to unlock private capital to expand access to high-quality, affordable primary health care services.

Prior to joining CHAI, Frederic worked at Bain & Company and Procter & Gamble. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Ghent University.
