Professor hannah moore

Professor Hannah Moore OAM is an infectious disease epidemiologist and Theme Head, Infectious Diseases at The Kids Research Institute Australia, with a joint appointment at Curtin University within the School of Population Health. Her research focuses on data-driven science through linkages and epidemiological analyses, and seeing results improve the knowledge and burden of infectious diseases, and translate into better informed vaccination programs for society. Professor Moore’s current focus is respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and other respiratory viruses and Group A Streptococcal diseases through international collaborations. In 2024, she was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to epidemiology research.
