Dr Jacqui Williamson

Jacqui is a cardiac sonographer and post-doctoral rheumatic heart disease researcher. Her PhD thesis was entitled Echocardiographic Elements of Rheumatic Heart Disease' and included 7 first author publications.

Jacqui is an investigator for the NEARER and ACT4RHD projects at Menzies School of Health Research where she provides training and support to remote staff for early detection of RHD using echocardiographic screening.

Jacqui is based in Adelaide, Australia where she also holds a position at Flinders Medical Centre performing echocardiograms and developing sonographer-led research opportunities.
