ASSOCIATE Professor MANISHA PANDEY
Associate Professor Manisha Pandey is an infectious diseases vaccine researcher with a focus on developing vaccines against Streptococcus pyogenes.
She is a Group Leader at the Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics, Griffith University, where she leads basic and translational research across microbiology, immunology and vaccinology.
Manisha is internationally recognised for her contributions to Strep A vaccine development and co-led the world's first peptide-based Strep A vaccine into Phase I clinical evaluation.
Her research is focused on advancing innovative vaccine strategies to prevent Strep A infection and its serious sequelae, including rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease, through global collaborative research and translation.
