Professor Masood Sadiq

Dr Masood Sadiq, Professor of Paediatric Cardiology is the Founding Vice Chancellor, University of Child Health Sciences, Children’s Hospital, Lahore.

He trained in Paediatric Cardiology from prestigeous institutions like GOS London and Children’s Hospital Birmingham in UK. He is one of the pioneers in the field of Paediatric & Congenital Heart Disease in Pakistan and is well recognised internationally in the field of interventional cardiology.

He has over 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and has presented >100 papers in international conferences as invited speaker.

He is currently the President Asia Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society and Pakistan Pediatric Association.

He has been confered one of the highest civil award, “Medal of Excellence (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz)”, by Government of Pakistan in recognition of his services in the field of child Health.
