ASSOCIATE Professor RACHEL HELENA WEBB
Associate Professor Rachel Webb is a paediatric infectious diseases specialist and clinical academic working at the University of Auckland, Starship Children’s and Kidz First Hospitals in Auckland, New Zealand.
Her research focuses on childhood infectious diseases, particularly those caused by Strep A and aims to improve health outcomes for children in Aotearoa.
She is involved in research across the spectrum of StrepA and rheumatic fever prevention and management, with projects spanning echocardiographic screening, sore throat diagnosis, ARF pathogenesis and treatment.
