The First Global Strep A Vaccine Conference will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 2–5 February 2027. Coming at a time of growing momentum in the field, this landmark meeting will bring together the full range of stakeholders working on Strep A vaccine research and development to strengthen coordination, share knowledge and plan the actions needed to reach a vaccine with global impact.

The Call for Abstracts is now open, with a submission deadline of 7 September. Organisers are keen to the broader community addressing rheumatic heart disease, including colleagues from low- and middle-income countries, and a limited amount of travel support is available to help facilitate broad participation.

The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Environmental Health Conference, NATSIEH 2026, will be held at Pan Pacific Perth from 9–11 November 2026.

Held under the theme “Our environment, our homes, our hearts”, the conference will bring together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander environmental health practitioners and organisations involved in the delivery and development of environmental health services and initiatives.

NATSIEH provides an important opportunity to showcase projects, strengthen professional networks, learn from practitioners across Australia and increase awareness of environmental health issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
