Professor Valdano Manuel, MD, PhD, is a cardiovascular surgeon and Assistant Professor at Jean Piaget University of Angola. He is the founder of the Cardiovascular Surgery Center at the Complexo Hospitalar Cardeal Dom Alexandre do Nascimento, Luanda, Angola.

His clinical and academic work focuses on cardiac surgery, rheumatic heart disease, and sustainable cardiac surgery in Africa.
