DR Yamikani Francis Gaveta Chimalizeni

I am a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist and Associate Professor at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences and Queen Elizabeth Central hospital, Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, Blantyre, Malawi.

I am also a senior research associate at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Research Programme. My research interest includes improving awareness and recognition of cardiovascular diseases in children including rheumatic heart disease and improving outcomes of children with rheumatic heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases.
