Dr Annette Kraus
Annette A. Kraus is a microbiologist and senior research scientist with extensive international experience in virology, infectious disease research, research management, and public health. She currently serves as Senior Research Scientist and Senior Programme Lead for SAVAC 2.0 at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI).
Previously, she worked as a Scientific Officer at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and as a Senior Research Officer and coordinator of the review process at the Swedish Research Council.
Dr. Kraus has also held laboratory and research positions at the Public Health Agency of Sweden, the Swedish Institute for Communicable Disease Control, the European Mobile Laboratory/WHO in Guinea, and universities in Germany and the United States.
Her experience includes managing a BSL-4 laboratory, coordinating research and clinical studies, and working with virological, molecular biological, and immunological techniques.
