Christine Katsuiime

Katusiime Christine is a Ugandan RHD patient advocate, community health champion, and co founder of FAAYO Community Heart Health Initiative, a community-based initiative dedicated to raising awareness about RHD, promoting prevention and supporting people and families affected by heart disease.

As Chairperson of the RHD Patient Support Group at Uganda Heart Institute, I advocate for patient-centred care and ensures that the voices and lived experiences of people affected by RHD are heard.

I am currently finalising my Master's in Public Health in Health Communication. I am passionate about connecting patient voices, health communication and community action to strengthen the global response to RHD and advance efforts towards its prevention and elimination.
