Dr Emmy okello

Dr. Emmy Okello is a leading Ugandan interventional cardiologist, researcher, and Senior Consultant at the Uganda Heart Institute. He co-directs the Rheumatic Heart Disease Collaborative in Uganda and holds an Honorary Professorship at Makerere University School of Medicine.

With a PhD focused on cardiovascular burdens in low-income settings, and advanced interventional fellowship training from Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Okello is recognized globally as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology for his work in mitigating the regional transitions of coronary and rheumatic heart diseases.
