Michael Poynter

Michael Poynter is a Partnerships & Innovation Manager at Auckland UniServices, the University of Auckland’s research and knowledge-transfer company.

He works with University researchers and external partners to develop translational research, partnership and commercialisation opportunities, with a particular focus on cardiovascular health, life-course health and related health innovation.

Michael is supporting the University of Auckland’s emerging paediatric rheumatic heart disease valve programme and its international partnership and funding pathways.
