Sarah de Loizaga

Sarah de Loizaga is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiologist at Cincinnati Children’s. Her research focuses on advancing equitable care and improving outcomes for children with heart disease across local and global settings.

Internationally, her work is centered on advancing care for those affected by rheumatic heart disease, with a particular focus on collaborative research and capacity building in resource-limited settings.

She is a member of the Rheumatic Heart Disease Research Collaborative in Uganda and is grateful to work alongside dedicated colleagues committed to improving outcomes for children with heart disease worldwide.
